Welcome
Marianne Wooldridge is a Board Certified Behaviour Analyst based in Leicestershire with over 17 years experience in providing applied behaviour analysis services to people with a diagnosis of Autism or developmental delay and has worked with clients of all ages and abilities consulting with over 100 children and adults with Autism between the ages of 19 months and 85 years of age.
Marianne Wooldridge is able to offer ABA consultancy across the Midlands and surrounding areas (travel outside of these areas may also be available). Marianne specialises in using the science of applied behaviour analysis (ABA) to teach new skills to children with Autism. These can include communication, language, play skills, imitation and daily living skills and if necessary develop behaviour support programmes. We incorporate a verbal behaviour approach in to our ABA programmes and programmes are very much fun, child-centred and individualised.
Marianne can provide consultancy to families running ABA /evidence-based early intervention in the UK and also provide consultation and training for schools, residential placements, individuals engaging in challenging behaviour and can provide professional supervision to students gaining clinical experience to sit the Board Certified Behaviour Analyst (BCBA) exam.
Marianne adopts a client-centred positive approach. Clients are taught how to learn in a fun and motivating way and new skills are developed using positive reinforcement. Behaviours that challenge are regarded as a means of communication and behaviour support plans are adapted using proactive and reactive strategies with the priority being teaching the individual alternative communication skills.
